About TISS Mumbai
In 1936, the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work was founded, which later became the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The AICTE and UGC have approved the deemed university. Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Mumbai are the locations of TISS. Through a number of schools of study, TISS College provides students in the media and cultural studies, social work in rural development, and other streams with UG, PG, PhD, Vocational, International, Online, and a host of other courses. The NAAC has accredited TISS Mumbai.
