MediCaps University Admission Process:
The MediCaps Online Admission Procedure consists of a few steps that students must follow in order to register themselves for admission to the courses offered by the university.The university offers various programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. The application procedure started from 26th December 2019 and it can be completed on the online portal of university’s official website. Candidates are primarily shortlisted based on the merit list (of the respective entrance examination) released by the university. The qualification exams may include JEE/CAT/MAT/CET/PAT/UCEED or other exams such as HSC/UF/PG or others.
Following are the steps one must follow to register oneself for admission:
Online Application Procedure:
- Visit the official website of MediCaps i.e. www.medicaps.ac.in.
- Click on “Admission 2020” tab displaying on the web page and read the admission procedure instructions carefully.
- Click on the link “MOAP-2020” that has already been activated since 26th December 2019.
- The admission system would guide you through the complete admission procedure.
Note: Candidates registering themselves for admission must make sure they complete the admission procedure as per the order these above-mentioned steps are given in. Following are the other points that students must keep in mind during the application procedure:
- Candidate’s valid email id would be his/her Username.
- Candidates without a valid email id must generate one before getting started with the admission procedure.
- All the mandatory fields are marked by a red asterisk (*).
- The Name and DOB of candidates must be as same as that of mentioned in class 10th marksheet.
Below is the detailed admission procedure that needs to be completed by candidates to register themselves for admission to Medi Caps University:
- Phase 1 – Registration on Sign-in Page of MOAP
- Candidates must click on New Registration Link to sign up on the MOAP 2020. They must note that there is no registration fee and the procedure is absolutely free of charges.
- Candidates must fill all the basic details correctly as any incorrect detail may lead to cancelation of candidature. They would also be required to choose the programs or courses they are interested in and wish to pursue their career with. (candidates can also make changes later during online application procedure).
- Candidates will receive a copy of login details and application number after successful completion of registration.
- The copy of login details along with application number will be sent to the mobile number registered by them during registration.
Note:
- Candidates can change their password after they log in successfully.
- Candidates must ensure that the details filled in by them are correct before submitting them.
Phase 2 – Online Application
On visiting the sign in page of Medi caps University, candidates are asked to enter their Username and Password, and click on submit button. Complete all the details as given below:
Personal Details:
- Candidate’s personal profile details
- Aadhar Card Details (Mandatory)
- Uploading of documents
Qualification Details:
- Enter your academic background details to ensure the eligibility criteria for admission.
- Upload the documents required as per the details mention in the application form.
Details of Entrance Examination:
- Candidates appeared in and qualified any entrance examination must enter the details to verify their result online.
Choice Preference:
- Select the program, available courses and specialization you wish to purse your career with.
- Candidates can also select multiple choices provided these can only be selected in defined order. Candidates and select and prefer courses program wise or even interdisciplinary priorities are permitted.
- In case of interdisciplinary such as B. Tech, the students would be required to opt courses along with the specialization that course comes in.
- Candidates can choose as many courses as they want as there is no maximum limit for choosing a course. However, the allotment of course will be done based on eligibility and merit.
Uploading Documents:
- Candidates must upload self-attested photocopies of mandatory documents.
Payment of Application Fee:
- An undertaking is generated before candidates proceed to complete the application procedure. This undertaking usually contains the details filled in the form by candidates along with Admission Rules.
- After having read the admission rules and regulations, the candidates can process the payment of application fee.
- The payment of INR 1500 must be made via online payment gateways or UPI.
Print Application:
- After the application procedure is completed, the receipt of the application form is generated along with rule of admission and application fees policies.
Note: B. Tech program is the only program where at least five courses can be selected in order of priority.
Phase 3 – Online Counseling and Reporting
The option of Online Counseling and Reporting is activated based on the course chosen by candidates according to specific result dates for allotment mentioned on the login page and information page of the website. On the specified date, the candidates can check their allotment for which they are sent selection and allotment notification SMS. Following are the operation candidates can perform:
- View Allotment: Candidates can view their allotment and take a print based on the applied preference and cut off marks defined by the university.
- Confirm Allotment and Pay Fees: After the allotment is confirmed, the candidates can proceed to process the payment of application fee and other details. It also contains the cancelation and fee refund policy set by the university.
- Forward to the Next Round: If candidates are not satisfied with the current allotment, they can forward their application to the next round and those who wish to appear for the next round would be required to make the payment of re-counseling form fee of INR 500 via Online payment gateways or UPI.
Note: Candidates with Nil allotment will not be charged any fee for the next round Counselling.
- Check Reporting Procedures: Candidates willing to take admission to allotted fields can go ahead and analyze the reporting procedure. It would include the details of document verification and fee payment (semester wise) at the University premises on or before the designated dates.
- If the candidates fail to report during the allotted duration, the seats will be considered vacant and filled in the very next round.
Offline Application
- To complete the application procedure through Offline mode, the candidates would be required to visit the university campus along with the required and relevant documents for fulfilling the above-mentioned application procedure.
