Central University of Gujarat Admission Process 2024
For admissions 2024 to the Central Univerity of Gujarat, students need to meet the eligibility criteria and clear the CUET cutoff for the specific course. For UG admissions, candidates need to have completed their 12th with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation to the reserved category). For PG courses, candidates must hold a graduation degree in the specific discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation to the reserved category). For the Doctorate program, candidates must hold a master's degree in the relevant specialization. The university exempts candidates with UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE scores from appearing in CUET. Such candidates are directly qualified for PI.
CUG Application Process:
- To apply for any course, check the prospectus on the university's official website.
- Payment of application fees is done online, facilitated through credit/debit cards or net banking.
- For the entrance test, General candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-. Caste-based concessions will be provided to OBC and SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates have the option to apply for up to three courses using a single application form.
- The entrance test will take place across 40 centers nationwide.

Central University of Gujarat Admission: Counselling Process
Once the CUET-UG results are declared, the registration for counseling begins. If your preferred university is CUG when you signed up, you can apply for their counseling. To qualify, you need to have taken the CUET-UG test in English and the General Test.
It's essential to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the course you want admission into. It's the candidate's sole responsibility to check the eligibility during counseling. If there's a mistake, the admission will be canceled.
CUET-UG Counselling:
The scores from CUET UG help you figure out which colleges or universities you might get into for BA (Hons) and Integrated MA courses.
- To sign up for counseling, we have mentioned the steps below:
- Visit CUG Admission Portal.
- Enter your CUET application number and birthdate from your application for a successful registration.
- Next, login, fill out the form, pay a fee of INR 100, and upload the necessary documents.
After the last date of registration, the university releases the merit list. If your name is on the list, pay the course fees, failing which the seat will be allotted to the next candidate on the waiting list.
CUET-PG Counselling:
For CUET-PG Counselling in 2023 at the Central University of Gujarat, the counseling process is similar to the UG course. For CUG PG course admissions, the university considers CUET-PG scores. These scores are taken into consideration for MA, M.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc, and MSc courses.
