UGC NET 2024 registration closing today; fee payment window closes on May 17

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 today, May 15. Interested and eligible candidates can complete the UGC NET 2024 application form on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18 and will cover 83 subjects in an OMR (pen and paper) format.

The deadline for submitting the UGC NET 2024 application form is May 15, but candidates have until May 17 to pay the registration fee. After submission, candidates will have the chance to make corrections to their application. The NTA will open the UGC NET 2024 application correction window from May 18 to May 20 until 11:59 pm. During this period, candidates can update their personal information, academic qualifications, exam city preferences, and scanned photos.

To register for UGC NET 2024, candidates need to have several documents ready, including their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, their qualifying degree certificate, a passport-sized photograph, their signature, a valid photo ID, and category and caste certificates.

UGC NET 2024 Registration: Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the UGC NET 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. The fee is INR 1,150 for general applicants and INR 600 for OBC-NCL candidates. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Transgender applicants, the fee is INR 325.
