Madhya Pradesh board has released an official notice which the MP Board Class 10 students must be aware of. MP Board has stated that students opting for Basic Mathematics in Class 10 and wanting to study the same in class 11 need to take the mandatory supplementary exams held by the board. According to the notice issued students choosing Basic Mathematics in 10th class exams and wishing to study mathematics in 11th class must appear for this exam and qualify it to opt for standard Mathematics in their further studies.
The Board has also stated that the students will be allowed to choose either Basic Mathematics or Standard Mathematics in 9th Class for the academic session 2024-25 and in 10th class for the academic session 2025-26. Basic Mathematics caters to students who won't be opting streams including Mathematics whereas Standard Mathematics caters to students aspiring for engineering or different science related streams for which mathematics is a mandatory subject.
