The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will be declaring the Round 1 Mock Allotment Result of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 today, August 9. This mock seat allotment is an important part of the KCET 2024 counselling process where the candidates get an idea of the allotment based on the choices filled by them. Steps to Download KCET 2024 Mock Allotment Result

To access the KCET 2024 Round 1 Mock Allotment Result, candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
  2. Navigate to the KCET Seat Allotment Link: On the homepage, look for the "KCET 2024 Mock Allotment Result" link.
  3. Enter Login Details: Provide your application number and date of birth.
  4. Submit and View Result: After entering the details, click on 'Submit' to view the mock allotment result.
  5. Download and Print: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

Post-Allotment Process: Modifying Choices

Thus, the mock allotment result acts as a pointer to enable the candidates to know the possibility of getting a seat in their most preferred course and institution. Candidates will be able to make changes to their choices after the mock allotment has been published. This modification window will be from 9th August to 11th August where the candidates are allowed to add, change, swap or remove their preferences.

KCET Final Seat Allotment

The final seat allotment result for KCET 2024 is scheduled to be released on August 21. Candidates who are satisfied with their mock allotment can keep their choices unchanged or modify them as needed before the final allotment. Once the final allotment is announced, candidates must report to their assigned institutes for document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission.

Candidates who secure a seat must prepare the following documents for verification at the respective institutes:

  • KCET 2024 Application Form
  • KCET 2024 Admit Card
  • Class 12 or 2nd PUC Scorecard
  • Class 10 Scorecard
  • Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO or DDPI
  • Registration Fee Payment Proof
  • Kannada Medium Certificate (if applicable)
  • Rural Study Certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate (if applicable)

Courses Covered in the KCET Mock Allotment

The mock allotment result encompasses all the fields of engineering, architecture, yoga and naturopathy, veterinary and farm science, BPharma, Pharma D, and BSc (Nursing). But, the mock seat allotment of medical, dental, and AYUSH courses will not be announced along with these results.
