Information systems are an organized system for collection, storage and communication of information. It is like a study of complementary networks used by people to study,collect, filter, process, create and distribute data.

Information systems can be of the following types on a usual basis- manufacturing, marketing and financial. They are critical for any organization to store, process and organize important classified information.
These individual operating systems also have their sub-systems like analysis of various variables and presenting customized reports.
Therefore a graduate/postgraduate working in this stream would be in charge of designing, maintenance and monitoring them.
This specialization can be done in a Btech or a Bsc.
The relevant entrance exams applicable are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BCECE, UPSEE and BITSAT.
A postgraduate qualification in this specialization would be an MTech/MBA.
10+2 students with subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized Board are eligible to pursue a B.tech IT course.
Students should have appeared in the state level entrance exam to be considered to be eligible to participate in the admission procedure.

Information systems is on a rise in demand in terms of India as no brand or company can manage without proper availability of information.
A beginner would make about 30-40k per month and the remuneration would go upto 10+ Lakhs a year after experience and expertise.
