IBSAT 2022 Exam - Dates, Application (Out), Eligibility, Syllabus

IBSAT Exam is an online test hence, IBSAT 2022 Exam would be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). It is an MBA entrance examination conducted for admission to the MBA Program offered at ICFAI Business School across the country. IBSAT 2022 is scheduled to be held on 4th week of December 2022. The exam duration for IBSAT is 2 hours. The exam is conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Declared as  a deemed to be university) for students seeking admission to the below mentioned programs:

• MBA program at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, and IBS Jaipur and off campus of IBS Hyderabad at Bangalore.
• Ph.D. program at IBS Hyderabad.
• PGPM program at 5 campuses of IBS i.e. Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

Candidates willing to take IBSAT 2022 must ensure that they stand eligible as per the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institutes. Possessing a bachelor's degree in any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university is the minimum qualification that students must possess while applying for the exam. The duration of the computer-based test is 2 hours and the questions asked in the exam would be of Multiple-Choice type questions. These questions are purely based on areas such as Verbal Ability, Quantitative Techniques, and Reasoning Ability.

IBSAT 2022 Registration

The application procedure of IBSAT 2022 began on  4th July 2022 and is still in progress. Students willing to apply for the exam and appear in it can visit the official website of IBS i.e. www.ibsindia.org and register themselves for the examination. Students can register themselves through both online and offline modes.

Things you must know before applying for the exam:

• Interested candidates must ensure that they possess all the prerequisites in order to apply for IBSAT 2022. These would include a valid email address, telephone number, and a valid and permanent address. They must also keep with them marksheets of class 10^th and 12^th as to calculate the percentage and fill the form correctly.
• Candidates must ensure that they process the payment of INR 1800 as application fee while filling the application form. Candidates willing to fill the form through offline mode of application must visit any IBS Campus and purchase IBSAT Application Form from there.
• Candidates must ensure that they enter correct details while filling the application form as any incorrect detail will lead to cancelation of their candidature and would even refrain them from entering the examination hall.

Guidelines to Fill IBSAT 2022 Application Form

IBSAT 2022 Application procedure started from 4th July 2022 and is in progress. The last date to fill the application form of IBSAT 2020 is in third week of December 2022. Interested candidates can register themselves on the official website of IBS by filling the application form available there. They must also process the payment of application fee of INR 1800 while filling IBSAT Application Form. The payment must be made through any online payment mode such as net banking, credit card, or debit card. Besides, the form can also be filled through offline mode and students opting for offline mode can purchase IBSAT application form from IBS centers.

• Candidates must ensure that they fill the application form by providing their correct details as any incorrect detail may lead to cancelation of their candidature.
• They must upload their recent and colored passport sized photograph in the specified format.
• They must also mention the exam they will be applying based on. Exams such as IBSAT or GMAT, CAT or NMAT by GMAC.
• Before submitting the application, candidates must read the information entered by them correctly and then navigate to and click on ‘I Agree'.

IBSAT 2022 Eligibility

Candidates willing to apply for IBSAT 2022 must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility required defined by IBS. They would not be granted admission if they do not stand eligible for the particular they are willing to apply for. The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has defined a set of IBSAT Eligibility Criteria for students willing to take IBSAT 2022.

• Candidates seeking admission must possess a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university.
• The medium of instructions in their respective college must be English. In case the medium of instructions is any other language than English, candidates would be required to submit their score of any of the entrance examination such as TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS by 31^st May 2022.
• They must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation.
• There is no age restriction for students applying for the exam.
