Steps to Register for XAT 2023:
The process of application to XAT 2023 is divided into following three parts:
- XAT 2023 Registration
- XAT Application Form Filling

As mentioned above, applying for XAT 2023 is a three steps procedure that must be completed by candidates applying for the exam. Candidates who have never applied for the exam are considered new users and they must complete the registration process before filling the application form. The next step to apply for XAT 2023 is filling up the application form. Candidates must ensure that they process the payment of application fee while filling the form.

XAT 2023 Eligibility
Candidates willing to take XAT 2023 exam must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute. They must check if they are eligible to take the examination or not. Following are the required minimum qualification in order to appear for the examination:
- Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years.
- Final year students can also apply provided they graduate by the time XAT 2023 Result is declared.
- Candidates applying through GMAT have been given the opportunity to apply for XAT 2023 by 31st December 2022.

XAT Registration 2023 needs to be completed online on the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in. Below are the recommended browsers to fill the form:

New User Registration
If the candidate is applying for XAT 2023 for the first, he/she must ensure that they register themselves on the official website of XAT for further process of application. Following are the steps candidates must follow to register themselves:
- Visit the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in.
- Click on the “Register” tab on the left corner of the computer screen.
- Candidates must fill in the registration details to get XAT/GMAT ID and Password.
- The registration details require basic details such as Name of Candidate, Date of Birth, Email Address, Country, and Mobile no.
- During the registration procedure, candidates must choose if they are applying through XAT or GMAT. Candidates applying through XAT can fill the application form by 10th December 2022 (Tentative-with late fee) while candidates applying through GMAT can do so by 31st December 2022.
- After the successful completion of filing up of registration form, candidates must click on the check box and “I Agree” (after entering the captcha) tab given under “Declaration” to proceed further.

After the successful registration, the candidates would receive a unique XAT ID and Registration Link within 24 hours of signing up. Candidates can click on the link to fill the application form.

Candidates with XAT ID and Password can complete the process of application by clicking on “Login” tab available on the upper left corner of the screen. Candidates must enter the details such as Username and Password that they have received on their email id and click on log in tab.

Step 1: Fill in the Personal Details
The candidates must enter their personal details such as:

Step 2: Fill in the Academic Details
Fill your Academic Details such as:

Step 3: Upload the Required Documents
Upload the required documents such as passport sized photograph and Signature. Candidates must follow the below mentioned guidelines while uploading the documents:
- The applicant would be required to sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- The signature should be signed by the applicant and not by anyone else.
- The Signature can be used to put on the admit card and wherever it becomes necessary.
- The image should have a scanner resolution to 600 dpi.
- The size of the scanned image should not be more than 20 KB.
- Set true color settings.
- Dimensions 140 by 160 pixels would be preferred by the candidate.
- The image file size should be in JPEG Format.
- There would be two separate links to upload photograph and signature.
- The candidate should click on the link “Upload photo/signature”.

Step 4: Enter Work Experience Details
Work Experience Details:
- Candidates must update and enter their work experience details if they have. Candidates with no work experience can also fill the form but candidates with work experience are given preference.
- They must mention their most recent experience first and so on up to a maximum number of five employment.
- No part time job experience should be mentioned. Only full time employment can be mentioned.
- The entered experience must be until 31 March 2021.
- Candidates must be doing their job after graduation.
Step 5: Choose Program
In this step, the candidates are required to enter the program details they to apply in. The candidates must define the field and program they wish to pursue their career in. Following are the courses that they can choose from:
- Business Management
- Human Resource Management
- General Management Program
After the selection of required program, the candidates will be redirected to a page where they must choose their most preferred institute for the each of the programs.
Step 6: Select Exam City
Selection of Test City:
After the selection of preferred institute, the candidates must choose the Test City (from the drop down) they wish to take their test from. The test city option is to make their test taking procedure convenient hence candidates must choose the most suitable test venue for taking the examination.

This is the last step to your procedure of application of XAT 2023. The candidates must ensure that they process the payment of application fee while filing the application form as the procedure remains incomplete without making the payment.

- The same must be sent within fifteen days from the issuance of DD.

Points to Ponder:
- Candidates should carefully fill and verify details on the online application form so that no changes would be entertained after filling the FINAL SUBMIT Button.
- The name of the candidate or his parent's name should always be spelled right in the XAT 2022 Application Form.
- The Photograph and Signature to be uploaded as per the specifications.
- The Preview Tab can be clicked, and the application form can be verified before clicking the button to submit.
- The Bank transaction fees for online payment of application fees would have to be borne by the candidate.
XAT 2023 Registration Key Points
- While filling XAT Registration Form 2023, candidates can choose two XAT Exam Cities for XAT Exam Center Allotment
- After the successful completion of XAT Registration and XAT Application Fee payment, candidates will receive an e-receipt on the computer screen.
- If no receipt is generated, it indicates the payment failure issue.
- When XAT Application Fee payment gets declined, candidates would be advised to re-login using their email id and password and repeat the entire process of making the payment in order to complete the application process.
- In case any amount is debited during failure of payment, candidates can wait for the debited amount to be refunded or get in touch with their bank.
- Take a printout of XAT Application Fee payment receipt. The same can not be generated after the window is closed.
How to Retrieve XAT Password?
In case candidates have forgotten their XAT Login Credentials, they can retrieve their XAT Credentials by following the below mentioned steps:
- Click on the XAT Registration 2023 tab.
- Navigate to and click on the “Forgot Password” tab.
- Candidates will be required to provide their registered email id and phone number.
- Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Click on the “Get Password” tab.
- XAT 2023 Registration id and password will be sent to candidates on their registered email id.
What after XAT 2023 Registration?
Candidates who successfully registered themselves for XAT Exam 2023 will be able to download their XAT 2023 Admit Card once released on the official website and it will be released through online mode. In order to download XAT Hall Ticket, candidates must use their login credentials i.e. XAT ID and Password.
