The WBJEE Syllabus is prepared and released for the benefit of the candidates aspiring to undertake the state level engineering entrance test for admission to undergraduate programmes across participating institutes. WBJEE Syllabus includes topics and chapters from where questions in the entrance examination shall come. All the candidates must follow the WBJEE Syllabus 2018 and devise a corresponding plan of study.
WBJEE would be conducted in an online mode by WBJEEB on April 23 while WBJEE online application shall be available from December 19 to January 19, 2023

WBJEE Exam Pattern Key Features
- WBJEE Exam would have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics wherein the total number of marks would be 200 against 155 questions.
- Physics and Chemistry would have a total of 40 questions each, Mathematics section would have a total of 75 questions.
- There would be 3 categories of questions in the WBJEE Paper carrying a weight of 2 and 1 marks.
- 0.25 or 1/4 marks shall be deducted for incorrect answers.
