UPSC Civil Services Application Procedure Details:
IAS Application procedure is not complicated. Follow the instructions mentioned below to successfully done through the Civil Services Application Procedure-
- A candidate can only apply online.
- A candidate must have his/her photograph and signature duly scanned in the jpg format in such a manner that each file should not exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature.
- The Online applications (Part I and II) can be filled from February 7, 2018, to March 6, 2018.
- Further communication (if any) will only be through electronic correspondence by email. The candidates must put a valid and active email id.
- Periodically check your folder and make sure that emails with the @nic ending are not directed to the spam folder.
- Fill the form timely to avoid last minute rush and glitches.
- Payment can also be made in cash by depositing money in any branch of SBI.
Candidates appearing in CS (P) Examination, 2018 will be required to indicate information such as the detail of centers for Civil Services (Main) Examination and Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination
- Optional subject to be selected for the examination
- The medium of examination for Civil Services (Main) Examination
- Compulsory Indian Language for Civil Services (Main) Examination at the time of the filling up online application itself.
Candidates already in a Government service must inform their employer in writing about them taking up this exam. Failure to do so might result in rejection.
