SSC CGL notification was released on 15th May 2017. A lot of major changes have been introduced in the SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2017. With a vacancy count of 4733, the time duration of Tier I Exam has been changed from 75 to 60 mins.
SSC CGL Tier I is a Computer Based Test scheduled for 200 marks to be solved in a duration of 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. No sectional cutoffs exist.

SSC CGL Tier 2 is an online examination consisting of 4 papers.Every paper is for a duration of 2 hours. Out of the 4 papers given, only two are compulsory for students. Paper 3 is for the post of the Statistical Investigator and Paper 4 is for Asst Audit Officer Gazetted Group B Post.
