In order to qualify the examination, the candidates must go through or revise the previous years' question papers. Since the pattern has been the same, it is not very difficult to have a quick and thorough revision of each question paper.
The question paper consisted of four segments namely General English, Quantitative Ability, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Current Affairs. SNAP Exam conducted in the year 2019 was seen to be easier than the one conducted in 2018. Questions asked during examination were more of conventional and even the Special Type of questions didn't cause any issue.

SNAP 2018
The question paper was similar to the one given in SNAP 2017. The total number of questions used to be 130 and later it was reduced to 110.

During SNAP 2018, Non MCQ questions i.e. Special Questions were introduced for the first time. The total number of questions used to be 130 and later it was reduced to 110. The changes made did not add much to the difficulty level of the examination.
A brief description of exam analysis of SNAP 2019 is given below.
General English
The section mainly comprises of Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.

- 5 Special Questions
The question paper consisted of 2 Reading Comprehension paragraphs and each paragraph had 5 questions to be attempted. One of the paragraphs was based on Google's Attempts to Track the Movement of the User and the other was on the Opening Up of the Economy. All the questions asked were fact based.
The difficulty level of vocabulary questions asked in the exam depended on candidates' vast knowledge of English Language.

- 1 Question on Antonym
The newly constructed Special Questions segment did have two other vocab-based questions. The two questions were:
- Plural form of “Crisis”
- Meaning of “Arbitration”
Another category of question asked was Fill in the blanks. The questions were typically based on basic knowledge of Grammar.

Quantitative Ability
Quantitative Ability, generally referred to as Quants, contained simple questions as compared to the previous years' question papers. There was increased weightage to Geometry and Modern Mathematics. Since each topic of this segment holds its importance, there were various topics no question came from.

Topics such as Number System, Data Interpretation, and Statistics did not have any contribution to the question paper. This made the segment much easier than the one asked in 2017.

Logical and Analytical Reasoning
The segment is designed to analyze the logical and reasoning skills of students and the question paper consisted of questions with basic Physics Knowledge. The questions were related to pendulum and candle.

Questions based on seating arrangement were complicated due to its long and expressed paragraph. The long paragraph made it more tedious to read it entirely and the candidates were to spend more that 10-12 minutes to understand it. This made students less comfortable and confused. Having the paragraph read completely would get students 7 correct answers.
Coding and Decoding questions required constant visualization. The questions were less strange from the previous year papers.

It is almost beyond the bounds of possibilities to be aware of every event and incident taking place around us. The questions asked in this section were primarily taken over by students with BA and Polity background. Current Affairs section of SNAP 2019 was said to be easier than the one in SNAP 2018.
