The SET is of an objective type with Multiple Choice Questions. There is a negative marking system for every wrong answer so the student is required to carefully mark the answers from the options given. There are a total of 150 questions and the students are required to complete the test within 2 and a half hours. The five areas of the question are:
- English
- Quantitative
- General Awareness
- Analytical Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
The Symbiosis Entrance Test has no proper syllabus. The students are required to practice the questions from the above-mentioned domains.Out of 150 questions, 25 questions would be based on English and students would be required to have clarity on areas like
- Synonyms, Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, Dictionary Meaning and Grammar usage
- Quantitative Aptitude- Geometry, Algebra and Statistics
