The candidate will be selected on the basis of the following SBI Clerk Guidelines:
- Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their score in SBI Clerk. The high score holders would be immediately recruited on the job.
- Candidates would have to pass in each section by gaining marks to be decided by the Bank.
- The adequate number of candidates in every category as shortlisted by the Bank would be shortlisted for the mains exam.
- The questions in the objective section except for English would be bilingual.
- Negative marks for the wrong answer in the objective test would be 1/4 marks that would be awarded.
- Passing marks would be determined on the basis of the performance of all the candidates in the exam.
- An 'Acquaint yourself' booklet would be given to the candidates appearing for the exam.
- Candidates who would have qualified in the exam would be placed according to their marks in the descending order in many categories.
- Depending on the number of vacancies, only certain candidates on the basis of ranking would be eligible for interview in the ratio of 3 in every category
- Interview call letters would be uploaded on the website after declaration of results of an online test.
- The marks obtained in the prelims would not be added for selection and only marks obtained in Mains would be added to marks obtained in the interview.
- Results of the candidates who had appeared for the interview and those who have been finally selected would be uploaded on the website. Final selection would be updated in Employment news/rozgar samachar.
