National Defence Academy Paper 1 was known to be comparatively easy in comparison to last year. Mathematics section was known to be easy whereas a lesser number of questions were asked from Physics and Chemistry section. General Ability Test section was moderately difficult.

Mathematics
The Mathematics Section had questions from topics such as Algebra, Matrices, Determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations.The Total marks that have been allotted to this section are about 300.

This section carries a total of 150 questions for a maximum mark of 600. The paper is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A carried questions from the English Section and Part B carries questions from Science and General Knowledge. Questions were moderate to difficult.
