NATA Eligibility Criteria has been Detailed for the Candidates as Below:

  • Candidates may come from the following backgrounds:
  • (a) 10+2 or equivalent  with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
  • (b) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts with 50 % aggregate marks and mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
  • (c) International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) after 10 years of schooling with 50 % marks and Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination. 

The lower age limit of appearing for NATA 2022 has been waived off. However, the candidate must comply with any age constraints that might have been specified by the counseling authority. No direct lateral admission is allowed at any other year/stage of B.Arch. course 

The NATA score is valid for two years. Even if you have qualified the NATA, you will be eligible to take admission provided you fulfill the other eligibility criteria as well.

Only candidates having the following credentials shall be eligible for Bachelor of Architecture course:

  1. Qualified a recognized Aptitude Test or NATA Equivalent in the year 2022
  2. The students have gone through any of the following curricula with the marks as prescribed below:
  • 10+2 or Equivalent examination of Central/State Governments with an aggregate of 50% and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
  • 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of the examination,
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing after 10 years of Schools with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects

Reservation:

NATA is a qualifying examination for admission into the Bachelor of Architecture program. Reservation is a prerogative of the counseling/admission authority of an institute and does not come into the ambit of the NATA Examination.

NATA Application has to be filled online at the official NATA portal. Candidates would be required to visit the portal and thereafter click the link for filling the NATA Online Application and would be directed to the Application Form. Once the candidate enters all his details, the candidate would be required to pay his application fees. Once the NATA Application Fees are paid, the candidate would be directed to the confirmation page. 

The important aspects of NATA Registration are as follows:

  • Candidates can register for NATA in an online mode.
  • The NATA Registration began on 8th april 2022.
  • Candidates would be able to register for the same until 23rd July 2022 for the third phase of NATA exam
  • Candidates would have to fill their personal details and upload documents at the time of filling the online form.
  • Candidates would have to upload scanned images of their passport photo, signature and category signature.
  • In case a candidate makes any mistake in the application form, the application correction window would be available from 9th to 11th July 2022 for the third phase.

The NATA Registration fee is INR 2000 for General(Male) and INR 1500 for candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category and General ( Female ). There is no age limit applicable for NATA Examination. The candidates would have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the above-mentioned qualifying examination. The candidates who are appearing for their respective final exam can also apply for NATA Examination. There is no procedure for lateral entry admission into Bachelor of Architecture course.

NATA would be conducted in an offline mode. The duration of the NATA Examination would be for a total of 3 hours. The questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude would be multiple choice and Part B would be answered on A4 sheets. About 62 questions would be asked in the examination for a total of 200 marks.

The candidate should secure a minimum of 25% marks in the MCQ portion and 25% in the Drawing Portion. The NATA Syllabus would include topics from Mathematics, Drawing and General Aptitude.

NATA Eligibility Criteria 2022 - State Level Admission

The following state-level B.Arch courses will admit applicants who successfully passed the entrance exam. However, students should be aware that they must fulfil the eligibility criteria for NATA 2022 as forth by the relevant authorities.

GUJCET

  • Candidates should be an Indian National.
  • Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with at least 45% aggregate score.
  • Candidates should also have passed diploma from any recognized institution with minimum 50% Score.

KEAM

  • Candidate should be an Indian National.
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible for admission.
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam securing minimum 50% aggregate marks.

                                                               OR

            Candidates should hold a 3-year diploma with minimum 50% aggregate marks

                                                               OR

            Candidates should have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, securing at least 50% marks.

 

  • Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.

KCET

  • He/She should be a citizen of India.
  • A candidate who has passed the 2nd PUC / 12th standard exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects.
  • 45% of marks in the case of SC, ST, Category‐I, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) candidates, and the person with a disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including dyslexia).

Himachal B.Arch Admission

  • Candidates should have passed 12th class with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all subjects (45% for Reserved category) and Mathematics as one of the subjects.

    Candidates should have passed 10+3 (diploma) with the subject of Maths from a recognized Centre/State Government with minimum 50% aggregate marks, (45% in case of Reserved category).
