For admissions in the participating institutes of the state level engineering entrance examination, all aspirants must fulfill the MHT CET Eligibility Criteria concerned with every aspect. Prior to filling the MHT CET Application form 2023, the candidates should check if they have fulfilled the MHT CET Eligibility Criteria.
Candidates found ineligible at any stage of the MHT CET Application Procedure would be disqualified, even if they qualify the examination. As per DTE Maharashtra, 85% of the seats in private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra shall be filled through MHT CET, 15% seats shall be filled/ reserved for All India Quota that would be based on MHT CET.
MHT CET Eligibility Criteria in detail are as follows:
- Indian Nationals who have passed HSC/ 12th Grade exam or its equivalent are eligible for appearing in MHT CET 202.
- There would be no age limit for appearing in MH CET 2023. There is no restriction about passing the examination in a particular year.
- Candidates appearing in Grade 12 or equivalent in 2023 would be eligible for writing MHT CET 2023.
