MAT 2021 Registration for February session began from 4th January 2021 and the last dates to apply for CBT and PBT are 14th February 2021 and 1st March 2021 respectively. The registration procedure is open for three modes in which MAT 2021 will be conducted. These three modes are CBT MAT, IBT MAT, and PBT MAT.
Key highlights of MAT 2021 February Exam
- The internet-based test i.e. IBT MAT is scheduled to be conducted from 8th March 2021 to 13th March 2021. Candidates can choose any of the scheduled dates as per their convenience. MAT 2021 will be conducted in two slots from 8th to 13th March 2021.
- Computer Based MAT has been reintroduced since December 2020. The CBT MAT for February 2021 will be conducted on 20th February 2021. MAT 2021 Registration is ongoing and interested candidates can register themselves on the official website of MAT i.e. mat.aima.in.
Candidates can even choose for both the modes and appear in both the exams.

New candidates willing to take MAT Exam must, first of all, register themselves by visiting the official website of MAT i.e. mat.aima.in. There are a few significant steps that must be completed in order to become eligible for the examination.
MAT 2021 Registration
Following are the details one must fill in during registration process:
- Name of candidate
- Date of Birth
- Mobile No.
- Password
- Confirm Password
After filling the registration form with correct details, candidates must click on SUBMIT and a username and password are sent to candidates' registered email id and mobile number. The candidates can, then, proceed to fill MAT Application form.
Data entered by candidates can't be edited or modified on later stages. They must make sure that the details are filled correctly.

Already logged in candidates or candidates who already possess MAT user id and password can proceed to fill the application form available on the official website of MAT. They can log in to their account and complete the process of filing the application form.
MAT 2021 Application Form must be filled correctly, and the personal and professional details given by the candidates must be accurate and correct. Any incorrect detail or discrepancy found during the examination may lead to cancelation of candidature.

Uploading Photographs
Filling of MAT Application form is followed by uploading of signature and passport sized photograph of the candidate. Candidates must upload scanned picture of their signature and photograph in the required format.
- Photograph image size should be between 40 KB and 100 KB.
- Signature image should be between 10KB and 40 KB.
- Jpg/jpeg format is acceptable.
- Recent and colored photographs are accepted.
- Photograph with white background must be uploaded.
- Candidate's Face should be clearly visible.
- Signature should be done on a white paper with black ink pen.
Payment of Application Fee
MAT Application Fee varies for applying through IBT or PBT and Candidates applying through both PBT and IBT. There is no fee concession to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Candidates must process the payment of application fee while filling the application form.
- Candidates applying for IBT or PBT mode are required to process the payment of INR 1650 and those who have applied for both IBT and PBT mode must process the payment of INR 2750.

Candidates who find it convenient to make the payment through Demand Draft can follow the below mentioned steps:
The Demand Draft of INR 1650 or 2750 must be drawn in favor of “All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi.
Selection of MAT Institutes
During the process of filing the application form, the candidates are given an option where can choose five desired Business school as per their preference. They can choose schools they wish to pursue their career in.
- MAT Score obtained by them is then sent to these chosen management institutes.
- Candidates are shortlisted after the announcement of Cut Off marks of respective business schools.
Note* Candidates choosing both PBT and IBT mode of examination are given an option to select extra two management institutions along with these 5 business institutions. It means they can select at most 7 management institutes in total.
