LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) conducts an online examination for the appointment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO). There are about 590 vacancies. Life Insurance Corporation invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Generalist Assistant Administrative Officer. Candidates are required to apply online. No other mode of application would be accepted. The test also is conducted in an online mode for the applicants.

The LIC AAO job profile involves a lot of administrative work more than having face-to-face interaction with customers in general. The list of functions that the one employed in the function includes but would be beyond:

- Pay Scale of an LIC AAO would be between INR 17K to 25K.

To apply for the examination candidate needs to fulfill LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria which includes a bachelor's degree in any field. The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years at the time of applying for the examination. Candidate should note that applications of candidates who fail to meet the requirement will be rejected and LIC AAO Admit Card will not be issued to such candidates.
This year there are changes in LIC AAO Exam Pattern as the conducting authority decided to introduce sectional timing in the question paper along with a minimum required percentage of marks as needed to qualify the examination in all category. Candidates qualifying the examination with required LIC AAO Cutoff will only be allowed to move ahead for next round of selection procedure.
LIC AAO Selection Procedure is again a strenuous process which starts from filling the application form followed by writing the exam.
