The candidates qualifying for JEE Advanvced will be shortlisted on the basis of their JEE Main Score.
A total of 2, 45,000 candidates will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2019. From the year 2019, the number of eligible candidates increased because of the inclusion of EWS category in the norms.
The number may further increase in case of a tie between two or more students for the same rank and they all are allotted the same ranking based on JEE Main Selection Procedure.

For securing admission in IITs and ISM you should either be in category wise top 20 percentile in class XII or must have scored at least 75% aggregate marks for general and OBC-NCL or 70% aggregate marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
