The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is an annual examination conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The JCECE is conducted to select potential candidates for admission in the graduation programme of Engineering, Medical and Agriculture streams being offered in the government as well as private colleges of the state. Candidate qualifying the examination are eligible to apply for the respective course of all the colleges affiliated to the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).

JCECE 2022 Application
Only the official website, jceceb.nic.in, offers access to the JCECE 2022 Application Form online. The PCB group application fee is INR 900 for general/BC-I/BC-II candidates and INR 450 for SC/ST/female students.
Application fees can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. Keep in mind that the bank will also charge additional service fees along with the payment.
Following are the steps below to fill out an application of JCECE 2022:
- Visit the JCECE 2022 website jceceb.cbtexam.in
- Go to the JCECE Admission Portal now, and then click the link for New Candidates Register to fill out the registration form.
- Now complete the JCECE registration form with all necessary information, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address, and submit it.
- Log in to the JCECE Application Form after completing the registration process.
- Now complete the JCECE Application Form with all necessary information, such as personal, academic, and address information, and submit it.
- The information provided by applicants in the JCECE application form must be supported by legal paperwork because it will be needed during the verification stages.
- Candidates will be asked to supply a few relevant documents, including a photograph, a signature, and a certificate of category, after submitting all the necessary information.

Residential Criteria to Apply for JCECE:
Candidates applying for JCECE must be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand state and must possess a valid local Residential Certificate issued from proper authorities assigned by Government of Jharkhand.
Reservation:
To avail, the benefits of registered seats of reserved category, local or permanent residing candidate of Jharkhand with valid caste certificate are eligible to apply under the reserved category.
Age Limit:
On basis of Course selected the age criteria may vary as mentioned:
B. tech Course: For applying in B.Tech Course there is no age limit for candidates qualifying other criteria.
M.B.B.S Course: The age of the candidates seeking admission in medical courses should not be less than 17 years of age or must reach the required age by 31 December 2022.
Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and A.H.) Course: Aspirants should not be less than 17 years of age in the applied year or must complete 17 years of age by 31 December 2022.
Agriculture and Forestry Course: Minimum age to apply for the course is 17 years and maximum age is 22 years on July 1st of the examination year. For candidates applying through the reserved category (SC/ST) relaxation of 3 years is given from the board.
Education Qualification to Apply for JCECE:
B.Tech Course: As per the underline guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and JCECEB, for taking admission in B.Tech course candidate must qualify 10+2 or an equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject taken in combination with either PCM or PCMB. Candidate applying from general category needs 45% minimum aggregate marks, whereas candidate applying from reserved category needs 40% to apply for the course. Candidates in final year of 10+2 are also eligible to apply.
MBBS Course: As per the guidelines of Medical Council of India (MCI) mandated by JCECEB the candidate applying for MBBS course needs to qualify 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English as mandatory subjects. Candidates must have minimum 50 % marks in the last qualifying examination if applied through the general category and for candidates applying through SC and ST category needs 40% to apply. Candidate pursuing 10+2 and will qualify the exam before counselling of JCECE are also eligible.
Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and A.H.) Course: Candidate qualified or appearing for final exam of 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects.
Agriculture and Forestry Course: Aspirants qualified 10+2 with physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects with either biology or mathematics as an additional subject are eligible to apply for the course. Candidates in the final year of 10+2 are also eligible.
JCECE 2022 Admit Card
After the registration process is complete, the authority will release the admission card in a few weeks. Starting in the second week of August 2022, candidates can access their admit cards online. Only candidates who have registered will be given access to the JCECE 2022 admit card. By logging into the authority website, registered applicants will be able to download their admit cards.
JCECE 2022 Answer Key
The authority will prepare the results using the JCECE Answer Key. Each exam participant's individual JCECE Result 2022 will be prepared by the authority via online mode. Starting in the fourth week of August 2022, candidates will be able to view their results. No candidate will receive their JCECE result 2022 via email or any other offline method. Candidates will need to connect to the relevant authority website to download it on their own.
JCECE 2022 Cut Off
The minimum score required to pass will be the cut off, which will be announced online. Along with the announcement of the results, the authority will provide the JCECE cut off marks. The cut scores will be created in order to shortlist applicants for subsequent admissions rounds. In order to be considered for the admissions process, candidates must achieve more than the specified cutoff marks for their category. The authorities will create a merit list with the names of the shortlisted candidates based on the cut off marks.
JCECE 2022 Counselling
Every candidate who is shortlisted will go through the counselling process online, according to the government. Starting the first week of September 2022, candidates can sign up for the counselling process. The number of rounds in the counselling process will depend on the number of open seats following each round of counselling. Candidates will be awarded admission based on where they place on the merit list. At the time of admission, the person with the highest position on the merit list shall be given first preferences. Candidates must check in at the designated centre after seats have been assigned in order to confirm their admittance. At the counselling session, candidates must also provide the necessary documentation.
