IIT JAM Correction Window: On November 10, the IIT JAM 2023 application correction window opened. The deadline for making changes is November 30. Candidates must log in to make the necessary changes to their application form. From September 7 through October 14, the IIT JAM 2023 application procedure was open. The test conducting organization, IIT Guwahati, has extended the deadline for submitting the application form for IIT JAM 2023 from October 11 to October 14, 2022.
How to Make Corrections in IIT JAM Application Form Form?
To make adjustments or edits to the IIT JAM 2023 application form, candidates must follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official IIT JAM 2023 website at jam.iitg.ac.in.
- Click on 'JOAPS 2023: Candidate Portal' or go straight to joaps.iitg.ac.in.
- Enter your email ID/Enrollment ID and Password to log in.
- Enter the Arithmetic Expression and hit the Submit button.
- Examine the application form and decide which field has to be changed.
- Edit the changes by clicking on the field.
- After reviewing the information, click Save.
- Complete the final submission.
Important Note: The exam authorities will send candidates a confirmation email and SMS. Candidates should be aware that if their category changes, their application fee will change as well. In that situation, they must pay the extra price to get their application accepted.
What is IIT JAM : Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test IIT JAM exam is conducted every year in Feb for admissions in various Postgraduate programmes like M.sc, Integrated M.sc+P.hd in IIT's and Indian Institute of science (ISC), Bangalore. IIT Guwahati is conducting IIT JAM 2023 on 12 Feb 2023. It will be an online examination (computer based paper). The eligibility criteria for writing IIT JAM is a candidate should be a graduate in any stream with 55% marks in aggregate for students belonging to General Category and there is the relaxation of 5% i.e 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Candidates with foreign nationality can also apply to this exam. Final year students can also apply for IIT JAM (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test 2023) provided they submit the required documents at the time of admission and there is no upper age limit for applying to this exam.
Candidates would be appearing for IIT JAM exam on 12 Feb 2023. The exam pattern details include examination type, duration of exam, no. of questions, mode of exam etc. IIT JAM 2023 will be a Computer Based Test conducted in an online mode. There are 3 sections in the exam consist of total 60 questions carrying 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. There will be no negative marking in Section B and Section C.

- On the home page of the official IIT JAM JOAP website, select "Register Link".
- Complete the application form by entering the candidate's name, phone number, email address, etc.
- After obtaining the OTP, complete the form with further personal and academic information.
- Once the details have been fully filled out, double-check the information provided.
- Now upload your photo, signature, mark sheet, and other required papers in the format.
- Next, pay the application fee according to the number of courses and category.
- Once the payment has been received successfully, a confirmation page will show up on your screen.
- The confirmation document is now available for download and printing.

- Before applying for IIT JAM 2023, candidates must make sure they meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Indian nationals and foreigners with degrees from Indian universities are both eligible to apply.

IIT JAM 2023 Exam Pattern

Section A
- Total Question: Total 30 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Marking scheme: Question will carry one or two marks.
- Each question will contain four optional answers; students have to choose the right answer only. Candidates can answer by clicking the given choices.
Section B
- Total Question: Total 10 MSQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Marking scheme: Question carries two marks.
- Each question will contain four given choices out of which more than one choice(s) can be correct. Candidates will get full marks if all the correct answers are selected. Two marks will be given for each correct answer.
Section C
- Total Question: Total 20 NAT (Numerical Answer Type).
- Marking scheme: Question carries two marks.
- No options will be displayed for these types of questions. Candidates have to answer by pressing the number through the virtual numeric keypad.

IIT JAM 2023 Admit Card
- IIT JAM 2023 admit card can be downloaded by candidates through the internet website.
- In the third week of January 2023, a link to the admission card download will be made available.
- Students should be aware that they can contact the authority to fix any errors in their application details up until the exam date.
- No applicant will be permitted to enter the examination room without presenting their admission card and identification.
- The name of the candidate who will be taking the exam, its title, date, time, location, instructions, etc., will all be listed on the admit card.
- No admissions cards will be distributed offline.
