The candidates applying for IIFT 2023 can check the complete eligibility criteria which are set for Indian Residents belonging to the General, OBC, SC,ST and PH; a separate set of eligibility criteria is also set for Non-Resident Indians. The eligibility criteria, in brief, have been detailed below:
- Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute of at least 3 years duration in any discipline.
- There is no age limit for the applicants.
- Candidates belonging to the general category should have got at least 50% marks in graduation while the others from the reserved categories should have scored 45% in their graduation.
The IIFT Eligibility Criteria for Indians
- Candidate should possess a 3 year Bachelor degree from a recognized institute.
- Candidates in their final year of undergraduate can also apply for the examination. Certifications of their last semester should be submitted to prove that they would be graduating in the current year.
- As per IIFT 2023 Eligibility criteria, no age limit exists for candidates such that candidate of any age can take up the examination.
IIFT Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals are as follows:
- Should be residents outside India for a duration of not lower than 18 months dated 31st December 2022 and be outside the country at the time of the IIFT Examination window.
- Indian Nationals who are living, working, studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/Consulate/High Commission where the candidate would be based, with a statement that the candidate has resided in that country for a period now low than 18 months dated 31st December 2022.
- Foreign Nationals in possession of a valid passport or equivalent travel document from a country apart from India.
- Foreign Nationals present in the country (India) at the time of giving IIFT Entrance examination should be taking the same.
- A production of Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score should be received by IIFT not later than 15th February 2022.
- NRI Sponsored and related to the NRI would not be considered here.
- The admission of the candidates under this method is based on GMAT score and an interview procedure. The candidates who get shortlisted would be undergoing a Personal Interview at the IIFT Campus.
Once the candidates fulfil the required eligibility criteria, they can start filling the application form of IIFT in both the online and offline mode. Candidates who find themselves eligible for taking the test should submit the qualifying examination document as an evidence equalling the IIFT 2023 qualification.
IIFT 2023 is a post-graduation exam that is conducted on a national level by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. The institute offers a full-time MBA course for two years in the stream of International Business at campuses of IIFT in both Delhi and Kolkata. Every year, more than 40,000 candidates apply to be eligible for the MBA course in IIFT.
