CLAT Application Process comprises the following steps:
Step 1: Creating ID
The candidate aspiring to appear for CLAT examination must select the course in which they seek to attain admission. After selecting the course, provide the required information such as their Full Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile Number. After providing these details an application number will be generated along with the registration slip.
The Username and Password generated at this stage will be used while registration. The candidate must notice that the mobile number provided during this stage will be registered and further notifications will be sent to the same number.
While providing this information, the candidate is advised to cross-check the details as the information once saved cannot be edited later.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
The candidate is required to provide other detailed information at this stage. Detailed information includes Full Address, Qualification and their preferred university.
Step 3: Uploading Documents
The Candidate is required to Upload the following documents:
- Passport size photograph
- Signature
- Date of Birth certificate

Step 4: Selecting Examination City
The candidate is required to mention three cities of their preference and will be allotted any one city from the preferences provided by the candidate.
Step 5: Paying Application Fees
The CLAT Application Fees can either be paid through Online Mode or Offline Mode. The candidates paying through offline mode should pay the fees through bank challan and the candidates paying through online mode can pay via Debit Card, Credit Card and Online Applications.
Step 6: Taking Print Out
After paying the application fees the online registration process will complete. The candidate is advised to take a print out of the final page for future reference.
