The KCET 2023 application form is now available online at the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority. The application process for KCET 2023 includes several steps such as registration, form filling, document uploading, and fee payment. The KCET application form is accessible only in online mode. The deadline to submit the KCET 2023 application form is April 5, whereas the payment of the application fee can be made until April 7. The official website also displays the KCET 2023 exam date, which is scheduled for May 20 & 21, whereas the Kannada language exam will take place on May 22.

To avoid missing out on the deadline, candidates are strongly advised to fill the KCET application form 2023 before April 5. The exam conducting authority will release the KCET admit card 2023 on May 5 on the official website after the application process is complete. To enter the exam hall, applicants must bring their KCET hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof. The KCET result will be declared a few days after the exam is concluded. Candidates who pass the exam will be invited to participate in the KCET counselling process at a later date.

What is KCET Exam?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level assessment also known as Karnataka CET or Kar CET. Under the direction of Karnataka University, the examination is administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, or KEA. In fact, this exam serves as the entry point for programmes related to engineering, pharmacy, architecture, ayurveda, homoeopathy, and other professions. KCET 2023 Application Form

  • On the KEA's official website i.e; kea.kar.nic.in, you may find the KCET application form. Candidates may complete and submit an application for the entrance exam if they meet the admissions requirements.
  • Applicants can complete the form by providing basic personal and educational details.
  • After providing all necessary information on the application form, applicants must sign the statement before having their signatures and photos scanned and submitted to the registration form.
  • Before signing the declaration, you can make any modifications to the form. There won't be a way to alter the form after that.
  • Once they have completed the form and included all necessary data, applicants can submit it online.
  • The registration form should be printed out and stored securely for future use.

Application Fee: 

  • The fee structure will be Rs. 250 for SC/ST/women applicants and Rs. 500 for general/OBC applicants for KCET Exam.
  • Candidates can submit a challan to one of the specified banks or e-post offices to pay the application cost.
  • Candidates will have access to the challan for download after signing the paperwork in the registration form

How to fill KCET 2023 Application Form

Step 1 - If the candidate is a first-time user, he or she must first register. To register, candidates must provide the following information:

  • Candidates Name
  • Parent's Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number
  • Email id
  • User ID

Candidates would receive an auto-generated application number after successfully registering.

The application number must be carefully noted down by every applicant.

It would be required during the login process.

Step 2 - The candidate will then need to log in with their application ID and password.

Step 3 - After entering his login credentials, the candidate must complete the application form by filling out all of the required details and uploading the required scanned images.

KCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The KCET Eligibility Criteria 2023 are determined by the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for all candidates who wish to take the entrance exam. Citizenship, Subject combination, Qualifying marks, Qualifying examination, Domicile, Category, and so on will all be listed in the eligibility criteria. Before completing the KCET 2023 application form, applicants must carefully read the eligibility criteria. Applicants should be aware that the eligibility criteria for KCET 2023 will differ depending on their applicant category. Applicants who wish to take the KCET in 2023 must meet the eligibility requirements.

1. Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen in order to be considered for admission.

2. Appearing Candidates: Applicants who are currently pursuing and in the final year of the qualifying examination may also apply. Applicants must provide passing evidence of the qualifying examination during counseling.

Academic Qualifications

B.Tech

  • Students must have completed the 12th grade, or its equivalent, from a reputable board or authority.
  • Those who will be taking the 12th grade may also apply.
  • Students must have received a passing grade in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at the 12th grade level from a recognised board.
  • Students must have received a minimum of 45% in PCM or PCB subjects (or 40% for reserved categories) in order to qualify.

B.Pharma

Candidates must have completed class 12 from an accredited board with a minimum grade of 45 percent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. For the SC/ ST category, there is a 5% relaxation.

B.V.Sc &  A.H.

Candidates must have completed their 12th grade year with English and PCB passing with 50%. For the SC/ ST category, there is a 5% relaxation.

BDS

Candidates must have received a PCB grade in 12th grade with a minimum of 50%. English must be a required subject in the 12th grade. Additionally, applicants must have a current NEET scorecard.

MBBS

Candidates must have received a PCB grade in 12th grade with a minimum of 50%. English must be a required subject in the 12th grade. Additionally, applicants must have a current NEET scorecard.

KCET 2023 Admit Card

The KCET 2023 Admit Card will be made available online on 5th May 2023. The candidates must carry the admit card, which is a crucial document. It includes crucial details including the candidate's name, father's name, subcategory, portrait, signature, and birthdate.

Candidates must input their application number and date of birth (as it appears on their SSLC/10th Grade Mark Card) in order to download the admission card.
