BITS Pilani has published the BITSAT 2021 exam sample along with the official approval notification. BITSAT 2021 is carried out as a computer-assisted online exam. The question paper contains 150 multiple choice questions that can be answered in 3 hours. It was also released along with the official notice. According to the BITSAT exam template, the question document is divided into four parts: i. Physics, chemistry, knowledge of English and LR as well as mathematics / biology. Candidates wishing to participate in engineering programs at BITS must answer questions related to physics, chemistry, math, and English and reasoning. In the meantime, candidates who wish to take part in the pharmacy programs must answer questions in physics, chemistry, math / biology, as well as English and LR. Candidates can try one of the sections first as there is no time limit for BITSAT 2021. 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. However, questions that have not been answered are marked with a zero.

The questions asked in the examination will be based on 11th and 12th class syllabus of NCERT. Topics that students have already studied in their class 11th and 12th would be the source of questions. The students appearing in the examination would be recommended to study from their NCERT books for each section asked in the examination. Besides this, the institute would also release the sample mock tests on its official website for students to understand how the question paper is designed.
BITSAT 2021 Marking Scheme
- The question paper comprises of 150 questions divided among four sections.
- For each correct answer, students would be rewarded with +3 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, 1 mark would be deducted as penalty.
- For questions not attempted, no mark would be deducted.
