Latest Update - BITSAT 2022 Registration has begun on the official website.
BITSAT Application Form for the session 2022 has been released by BITS Pilani. The application window will remain open till 21st May 2022. Aspirants planning to take admission to any of the BITS campuses through BITSAT must fill BITSAT Application 2022 Form. Meanwhile, candidates will be advised to download and solve the sample papers available on the official website of BITSAT in order to score well in upcoming exam. The exam is expected to be conducted in the last week of June 2022.

What is BITSAT?
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test which is widely known as BITSAT is one of the well-known engineering entrance examinations conducted across the country for admission to first year undergraduate and integrated first year programs such as B. E., B. Pharm, and M. Sc offered by different campuses of Birla Institute of Technology and Science. The exam is conducted by BITS Pilani once a year. The question paper of BITSAT consists of 150 questions distributed among four sections which are to be completed in 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes. The questions are of multiple-choice type in which each question contains 4 options out of which one is correct. One of the interesting facts of appearing in BITSAT is, students who answer all the questions in the paper would be given 12 additional questions solving which would get them extra marks to qualify the examination.

BITSAT 2022 Registration
Candidates interested to take BITSAT 2022 can register themselves by visiting the official website of BITS i.e. bitsadmission.com and fill the application form there. They must process the payment of application fee while filling the form. Without making the payment of application fee, the registered procedure would not be considered completed.

Candidates must follow a simple set of instructions mentioned on the official website while filling the application form. Following are the steps one must follow to register oneself for BITSAT 2022:
1. Application Form:
- On the official website, click on the registration tab to register yourself and fill the application form available on the directed link.
- Candidates must enter their personal and qualification details correctly. Any incorrect detailed filled by them will lead to cancelation of their candidature.
- After the form is filled, candidates will receive a unique application number on their registered email id and mobile number.
2. Uploading Scanned Images
- The next step to filling the application form is uploading scanned images of candidates' passport sized photograph and signature.
- Candidates must ensure that the size of uploaded images should not exceed the given dimensions.
- Image size for photographs should be between 4kb and 50 kb and for signature it should be 1kb to 30 kb.
3. Payment of Application Fee:
- Candidates must process the payment of application fee while filling the application form. The payment can be made through online modes of payment such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- For offline payment mode, candidates must acquire bank challan for making the payment.
- The application fee varies for male, female, and NRI candidates.

BITSAT 2022 Eligibility
Candidates appearing for the exam must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute. The basic criterion to apply for the exam is to secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in each of the subjects of class 12th. Though the eligibility criteria vary according to the courses offered by the institute, below are the eligibility criteria for courses offered at BITS: Check BITSAT Eligibility Criteria
Admission to Undergraduate Program except B. Pharm (Hons.)
- Candidates seeking admission to any of the undergraduate programs except B. Pharm (Hons.) must have passed 12th class from a recognized board be it central or state, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They must also possess an adequate proficiency in English subject.
- Candidates must also secure at least 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They must also score at least 60% marks in each of the subjects mentioned above.
Admission to B. Pharm (Hons.)
- Candidates must have passed 12th class exam from a recognized board with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. They must also possess an adequate proficiency in English subject. Besides, candidates with both the subjects i.e. Mathematics and Biology in class 12th can also apply for the pharmacy program at BITS campus.
- Candidates seeking admission must have obtained at least 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 60% marks in each of the subjects mentioned above.
Additional Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed class 12th in 2021 or are appearing in 2022 will be considered eligible to apply for BITSAT 2022.
- If any candidates have appeared in 12th class more than one time, then only the last performance will be considered.
- Students currently studying at any of the BITS Campuses will not be allowed to appear in BITSAT 2022 Exam.
Admission will be granted purely on merit basis. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in BITSAT Exam. However, their eligibility for admission to their desired program is subject to meeting the requirement of minimum marks obtained by them in class 12th board exams as mentioned above.

Note* Candidates who get admission to the M. Sc. Program offered by the institute will be considered eligible to apply for the dual degree in engineering offered at BITS Pilani after they have completed one year. This is usually decided based on candidates' performance at BITS at the end of completion of first year of their degree.
BITSAT 2022 Admit Card
BITS Pilani releases BITSAT Admit Card on its official website. BITSAT Admit Card 2022 are expected to be released on 12th June 2022. In case, students find any discrepancy in their download admit card, they must immediately report it to the examination conducting authority before the commencement of BITSAT Exam. The officials will generate a new admit card with correct information on it as per provided by the candidates.

BITSAT Preparation Tips
It is not a very difficult task to crack BITSAT Exam and as per the students who already appeared in the exam during the past years, the question paper is designed in such a manner that only judges the presence of mind and time management skills of appearing students. It will be an online examination i.e. a computer-based test which will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. The syllabus will be entirely based on the NCERT Syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The exact knowledge of BITSAT Exam Pattern and BITSAT Syllabus is very important before you start preparing for the examination. How to Prepare for BITSAT Exam?
- For smooth and simple preparation tricks, students will be advised to follow the instructions mentioned in this article. Besides, candidates must also note that BITS Campuses release branch wise BITSAT Cutoff individually on which the selection of candidates is based.
- Take Brief Notes: Take brief notes that cover all of the key concepts and points. Quick formulas, reactions, derivations, etc. They can be written down in one place for each subject.
- Solve BITSAT Sample and Previous Year Problems: Solve Example and Previous Year Problems helps students identify the parts or topics that will take the most time. Students can also learn about the topics that are asked most frequently at work.
- Practice BITSAT Mock Test: The mock test series is available online. Students can take the BITSAT mock tests to get an idea about the pattern of the paper, the types of questions asked, etc. From the results obtained, the student knows the areas that he did well and the areas that require additional preparation. Solve as many test series as possible and analyze each test as well.
- Time management: Prepare a timeline and distribute the topics according to the number of topics that need to be covered. A timeline helps students plan and complete preparation in a timely manner so that they can spend time solving tasks from the previous year.
BITSAT Exam Counseling 2022
BITS Pilani conducts BITSAT Counseling in various steps and it released the admission and the waiting list after every single round. It is very normal to expect at least 6 rounds of counseling that the institute campuses conduct for admission. The process usually starts in the month of July every year.
- Students who have obtained the first rank in their respective state or central board examinations are entitled for direct admissions. In such case, their BITSAT Exam Score will not be considered for admission.
- The institute follows no reservation policy in BITSAT Exam.
