Before submitting an application for the AILET 2023 exam, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements listed below:
For B.A.LL.B. (Hons)
- Exam requirement: The candidate must have passed the class 12 or a comparable test from a recognised board.
- Marks: The qualifying test must be passed with a minimum score of 45 percent (or 40 percent for protected categories).
- There is no upper age limit for applying to the AILET exam.
- Those who are enrolled in 12th grade exams may also apply for the test.
For LL.M. Course
- The candidate must have passed the LL.B. exam or have earned an equivalent degree from a reputable university.
- Percentage: For general candidates, the minimum required score is 50%; for ST, SC, and PH candidates, the minimum required score is 45%.
- You can apply for the exam even if you're in your final year of law school.
