The Registration Fee for XISS Ranchi is (Application Form Cost): The registration charge is 1800 + 18% GST, which equals (324) à Total: 2124/-.

The Institute’s admission process adheres to the AICTE criteria. The GG&PI is usually conducted in two stages by the institute. Phase I will take place in March, and Phase II will take place in April/May, depending on the availability of CMAT test results. Classes for the new academic session begin on the date specified in the AICTE Academic Calendar for the relevant year.

50% of the seats will be filled by applicants with CAT and/or XAT results, while the remaining 50% will be filled by those with CMAT scores.

The Institute has a policy of only permitting one application per applicant (one Aadhar number). An applicant, on the other hand, has the option of applying for two PROGRAMS using the same application. They are listed as Program Preference I and Program Preference II on the application form. There is no extra price for completing the 2nd Program Preference. (This is merely an alternative that one may keep for himself/herself in case the applicant is unable to qualify for his/her first preference, but still has a chance of qualifying for the second preference or vice versa. Please keep in mind that eligibility to appear in the GD&PI will be determined by the applicable cut-off for the given year, and one may or may not qualify for any of the preferences, or may qualify for only one or both. In any event, the ultimate eligibility status will be clearly noted on the GD&PI ADMIT CARD). Shortlisted candidates who meet the cut-off based on the above-mentioned all-India entrance test score will be invited to participate in the Group Discussion/Extempore and Personal Interview (GD&PI) via ONLINE/OFFLINE modalities, depending on the current Covid conditions and other variables. 
 

Admission offers are provided to successful candidates following the GDPI round. The final decision is dependent on a variety of factors, including:

• Academic history (20% weightage)
• Entrance exam performance (40% weightage)
• Group Discussion Performance (10% weightage)
• Personal Interview performance (25% weightage)
• Diversity and extracurricular activities (5% weightage)

Admission schedule for 2023:

• The deadline for applications is November 1, 2022.
• Application deadline: February 22, 2023 (Details will be released later.)
• Phase I GD&PI: first week of March 2023 (exact dates to be provided later)
• After the announcement of the CMAT 2023 results (expected in April/May 2023)

Date and mode of GD&PI for Phase I and Phase II:

1. The GD&PI for Phase I will be place between the 2nd and 7th of March 2023.
2. The format of the GD&PI will be determined by the current covid conditions and the amount of applications received from a certain location.
3. GDPI offline (face-to-face) centers for Phase-I will be located in the following locations: 1) Delhi    2) The city of Mumbai   3) The city of Kolkata    4) Bangalore and 5) Ranchi. [A check box on the application form indicates the applicant’s selection]. (However, the final decision will be made by the institute).  
4. GD&PI for Phase II will be held solely at the institute premises at RANCHI in Physical Mode (Face to Face GDPI). The dates will be determined by the availability of CMAT 2023 results.

Please keep in mind that 50% of the seats are allocated for applicants from Christian Minorities, ST, SC, and other minorities, so make sure to mention your category when filling out the form.
