• Admission to Walchand’s various programs is done through the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra’s Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
• Application and Admission Procedures for Diploma/B. Tech/M. Tech
• Diploma and B. Tech applications are submitted electronically via the DTE website. M. Tech candidates must also apply to DTE in order to take the CAP.
• Upload the required papers, pay the application cost, submit the completed form, and print the confirmation page.
• After passing the MHT CET, undergraduate candidates must take the CAP to be shortlisted and assigned seats based on their entrance score and course/college preferences. The CAP also allocates seats to GATE-eligible individuals. 
• Shortlisted candidates must thereafter report to the Application Form Receipt Centre (ARC) in accordance with the CAP Rounds.
• Finally, students report to the designated institution for admission with the necessary paperwork and money before the deadline.
• To qualify for B. Tech, Maharashtra residents must take the MHT CET. Candidates who take JEE Main are, nevertheless, also eligible to take the CAP.
