Admission procedure of Thangavelu Engineering College

Thangavelu Engineering College was established in the academic year of 1995 by Ponniamman educational Trust located in old Mahabalipuram and was moved, after a few years, to Karapakkam (Chennai). It is approved by AICTE (All India Council for technical Education), recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu and is accredited by NBA. It is an ISO-9001:2008 certified institution and the program's Engineering, Technology, MBA and MCA are affiliated to Anna University.

The college offers ungraduated as well as postgraduate programs. There are several Thangavelu Engineering College courses offered in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Besides Human Resources Management, the college also provides MBA in Marketing Management, Finance Management, Operations Management and System Management.

 Admission Procedure
 First of all there are different eligibility criteria for different programs.  According to the ANNA UNIVERSITY ADMISSION, it is based on the cut off marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The students are ranked on the basis of their performance and a merit is released. According to the merit the students are called in for counseling.

The eligibility guidelines for admission to UG and PG are defined by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University.

•         The candidates are requested to read the application form carefully and are advised to abide by the instructions given in the form
•          The application forms should be submitted with the required documents. Incomplete applications would be cancelled then and there
•          Application forms are available at college and corporate office and the candidates are requested to fill in their correct details.
•          If any information is found incorrect the candidate will be forfeited for admission and will be debarred from doing any course.
•          Legal actions may also be taken against the candidate.
