Except for the Ph.D. program, admission to the programs offered at Swami Vivekananda University Barrackpore is based on qualifying examination results.
Candidates must pass one of the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), State Eligibility Test (SET), or SVU Research Eligibility Test (RET) to be admitted to the Ph.D. program. These tests are followed by an interview process.
