St Joseph College of Education, Mysore Admissions

All admissions are subject to clearance by the University of Mysore. Joseph's Institution of Education is a coeducational institution with a minority population. The college provides education in both English and Kannada. The total intake is 100, including 50 government seats and 50 management seats. 

Admission to management seats will be made on merit, based on marks gained in the qualifying examination, if any, or any other selection procedure as determined by the Central Government/State Government/University Admission Policy from time to time. The candidate must complete up the application form and send it to the college office along with verified copies of the following papers.

• Mark sheets of the Degree examination
• Degree certificate of the degree examination
• For a Postgraduate, a copy of the Post-graduation mark sheet and degree certificate
• Higher Secondary Certificate
• SSLC certificate
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC  certificate.

The application form must be filled out by the candidate and submitted to the college office along with the attested copies of the following documents: 

• Mark sheets of the Degree examination 
• Degree certificate of the degree examination For a Postgraduate
• A copy of the Post-graduation mark sheet 
• Degree certificate Higher Secondary Certificate SSLC certificate Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC s.
• Aadhaar Card 
• 8 passport size 
• 3 stamp-size photographs with blue backgrounds.  
• Income certificate

Selected candidates will be intimated the date within which fees have to be paid together with original certificates. Failure to produce the certificates in original within the specified period and if the selected candidates do not join the course on the reopening date will result in forfeiting the seat. 

St.Joseph College of Education Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with at least 50% marks from a recognized university either in Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Commerce/ Management.  
• Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 % marks. 
• Any other qualification equivalent thereto (As Prescribed by NCTE and UGC and State Government)SC/ST/OBC/PWD/371(J) and any other categories/type shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government.
