Pendekanti Institute of Management (PIM) is established in 1991. It is the youngest among the academic institutions started by Vasavi Academy of Education (VAE). Vasavi Academy of Education is a non-profit society registered under Societies Registration Act was founded in the year 1980 under the able guidance of its Chief Patron, (Late) Sri. Pendekanti Venkata Subbaiah, former Union Minister of State for Home and Parliamentary Affairs and Ex-Governor of Bihar and Karnataka. Vasavi Academy of Education is dedicated to the cause of development in the field of basic and professional education. Pendekanti Institute of Management offers MBA programme and is well isolated from city noise and its ambience makes it conducive for learning. In this age of rapid changes and developments in science and technology, education has come to be recognized as a major input for the speedy development of the nation and the upliftment of its people. Vasavi Academy of Education is an organisation that has been making vital contributions towards this goal. The Academy has, since its inception in 1980, sponsored and established several institutions, in addition to Pendekanti Institute of Management: The continuing endeavor of the academy is to carry on this relentless service, in the cause of education, into the future. So far 18 batches have come out of the institution. 19th and 20th batches are under going 2nd and 1st year program respectively during the year 2010-11.
