In North Lakhimpur, on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in upper Assam, there is a self-contained college that is connected with Dibrugarh University. It was founded in 1952 and is Assam’s first autonomous college. The institution provides undergraduate and graduate programs in mass communication, tourism and travel management, computer applications, electronics and communication technology, and the arts, sciences, and commerce. North Lakhimpur College Admission Procedure is given below:
You must submit your application for admission to the college using the official forms that are included with the prospectus. HSLC/HS results are announced, and then a college prospectus is released.
Before filling up the paperwork, one should carefully read the prospectus. The admission forms can be removed from the prospectus, and on the specified date, they must be delivered to the college office entirely filled out.
Admission to the college and dorms is solely based on merit and is subject to the principal’s approval. Assam government regulations mandate that students who are SC, ST, or OBC receive a reservation. The admissions committee determines the precise number of seats for the sport and music quota for admittance into various grades.
Outstanding students in these subjects may apply directly to the principal with a basic sheet of paper and the necessary credentials.
Interview dates for admission to different classes are announced in advance. Before the day of the interview, a list of applicants who are eligible for admission will be posted on the college notice board.
Admission and the interview will happen on the same day. The following documents and papers will require the candidates to sign them in person:
- Original or provisional diplomas from the institution you most recently attended.

- Notepads (original)
