National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Admissions
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) provides undergraduate and postgraduate legal education. The university offers BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. programs. All NUALS admissions are very competitive. The UG and PG courses will be chosen based on the results of the CLAT (centralized test for law). Kerala students receive 49% reservation across all categories.

NUALS Application Procedure
CLAT will be used to determine admission to the LLM and BA- LLB (Hons) programs. The CLAT application process is described below:
- Register on the CLAT’s official website and correctly complete the application form.
- Upload all of the papers that are requested.
- Pay the application cost online using net banking, debit/credit cards, UPI, or other methods.
- Application Procedure for Postgraduate Diploma Courses:
- The application form may be downloaded as a PDF file from the university’s website.
- Submit the application form and upload all of the required documentation.
- Candidates who meet the qualifying test (Bachelor’s Degree) cut-off will be mentioned.
Ph.D. Application Procedure:
- Candidates must obtain the application form as a PDF from the university’s website.
- Submit the application form to the university, together with the required funds.
- Candidates doing research at recognized institutes may apply to the Registrar of the University through the Head of the Institution.
- Students who have obtained at least 50% in the DAT will be eligible for admission.

National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Scholarships
NUALS offers government-funded scholarships to students from underserved areas, such as SC and ST, based on merit and financial need. Furthermore, there is an NK Nambiar grant for students from low-income families. Aside from that, there are IDIA scholarships. IDIA is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that exists to help the student body. Eligible students can apply for these scholarships on the Institute’s official website.
