National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur Admission
NLU Jodhpur offers admissions in BA. LLB (Hons), BBA. LLB (Hons) at the undergraduate level; LLM Corporate Law and MBA in Risk and Insurance at the master's level; Ph.D. at the doctoral level. The admission procedure is merit-based, depending upon the score obtained in entrance examinations.

B.A. LLB (Hons) / BBA LLB (Hons) Admissions
The admission criteria for undergraduate courses like B. A LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) in NLU Jodhpur are solely based on CLAT scores. However, there are certain prerequisites that are needed for admission.
- Students should have at least 45% marks in Class 10th and Class 12th.
- Students should have appeared in the CLAT exam
- Students should clear the NLU Jodhpur Cut-Off
However, NLU Jodhpur provides reservation of seats for NRIs, Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe, and physically handicapped students. In the case of NRIs, they will have to mention in the CLAT form that they are applying under NRI/NRI Sponsored. A separate list is published for merit-based admissions under the NRI Category.
LLM Corporate Law and IPR Admissions
The program is spread over two semesters in a span of one year. The course comprises a foundation course, 6 specializations and a Dissertation. The admission is restricted to CLAT scores. 70% weightage is given to CLAT scores and the rest of the weightage is given to relevant work experience. Prior requirements needed for admission:
- Students should have completed LLB from recognized university
- Students should have appeared for CLAT and has a CLAT score
- Students should have relevant work experience and publications in their name.
MBA in Risk and Insurance Admissions
The two-year postgraduate program is an integrated course of various insurance subjects complementing core management subjects like finance and marketing. MBA in NLU Jodhpur is solely Merit-based. However, the following requirements are needed for admission:
- Minimum 50% marks in class 10+2
- Bachelor’s in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
- Students should have appeared in CAT / MAT / CMAT
Students who are in their last year /semester are also eligible to apply. The prerequisite is, that students should have scored 50% in their pre-final examination.
The weightage given to the Graduation and pre-final exam score is 50% and the weightage given to the qualifying test is 50%.
