UG Courses:
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate seeking admission in the NIT Calicut for B.Tech./B.Arch. should have done XII from a recognized board/institute with at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
Admission Procedure:
- The admission in the NIT Calicut provided B.Tech./B.Arch. is done on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main.
- The final merit is obtained through the merit obtained in the XII (40%) and merit obtained in JEE Main (60%).
- The admission is done through seat allotted by the counselling done by CSAB-JoSSA.

M.Tech. | The candidate seeking admission in the M.Tech. provided by the NIT Calicut should have done B.Tech. from a recognized college/university with 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in the grade point of 10. |
MBA | The candidate seeking admission in the MBA provided by NIT Calicut should have done Graduation from a recognized college/university with 60% or 6.5 CGPA in the grade point of 10. |
MCA | The candidate seeking admission in the NIT Calicut for MCA should have done Bachelors from a recognized institute/university. The candidate should have studied Mathematics at 10+2+3 level. |
M.Sc.(Hons)/M.Sc.(Tech) | The candidate seeking admission in the NIT Calicut for M.Sc.(Hons)/M.Sc.(Tech) should have done Bachelors from a recognized college/institute with at least 60% marks aggregate. |
PhD | The candidate seeking admission in the PhD should have done Masters from a recognized college/university. |

It’s NIT
Placement: 1. In the core fields Mechanical, IT and Civil Placements are less but still, the majority gets’ placed
2. In rest, all more than 95% gets a placement but for that, they need not have any backlog.

Placement: there are many departments in my college like mech, civil, chem, elec, cs etc. so there is a lot internship are carried out with the help of faculties involved in this.

It’s NIT
Faculty: They have a high standard of teaching and that is why some students don’t match that and that only drawback.
Education - Almost each and every faculty of the college is a doctorate degree holder.
