Mumbai Educational Trust Institute of Management (MET IOM) was established in the academic year of 1989. It is located in Bandra, Mumbai. University of Mumbai affiliates this institute. The institute offers degrees in various programs including Management, Information Technology, Mass Media, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, and Insurance Training Research & Development. It also offers PhD program. It is a private institution that offers students to pursue their careers in management. The duration of the courses and the criteria to be eligible for the courses are different.

The infrastructure of MET Mumbai is good. The library is E-enabled, large enough to accommodate a large number of students, and is fully equipped with all the recent and informative books. The classrooms are large, well-furnished, air-conditioned, clean and tidy. It also has conference rooms which are equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities, which provide a Hi-tech ambiance to the students. The entire MET campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Conference rooms are there to encourage the thoughts and discussions, an internationally designed playground, and a colorful and friendly cafeteria.

The institute has two campuses. One is located in Mumbai and the other one is situated in Nashik. Both of the campuses are composed of various institutes.

The faculty and course curriculum are satisfactory. All the professors are easily accessible, well qualified and helpful. They also help the students to choose their interests. They also have good amount of industry experience and they teach with their full enthusiasm. They guide the students to match the current needs of the industries.

The placements in this college are pretty good with average packages. Almost 99% students get placed every year for summer internship from the college. Companies like Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, CEAT, TCS, J P Morgan etc.

The admission criteria for different courses are different. Courses like Masters in Management Studies, Masters in Marketing Management, Master’s Degree in Financial Management, Masters in Human Resource Development Management, Master’s Degree in Information Management and PhD Program in Management are affiliated to University of Mumbai.
