The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, widely known as IIT Hyderabad, was established in 2008 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It was set up with financial assistance from the Government of Japan. It has been given ‘Autonomous’ status and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). IIT Hyderabad is ranked 8th under the “Engineering” category by the NIRF Ranking 2023. IITH is one of the finest engineering colleges with a campus area of 576 acres. IITH is one of the 23 IITs currently functioning in India and has been declared as an institute of national importance. The institute offers UG, PG, and PhD programs. IIT Hyderabad provides 30+ UG and PG programs. Candidates seeking Admission to the IIT Hyderabad B.Tech program must pass the JEE Advanced exam and then go through JOSAA counseling. JOSAA manages the IIT Hyderabad seat distribution and conducts six rounds of seat distribution based on factors like JEE Advanced rank, seat availability, category, etc.

Since the IIT Hyderabad Admission B.Tech CSE program is one of the most popular, applicants can anticipate that the cut-off will fall between 613 and 1586.

In addition to the bachelor’s program, master’s and other higher education courses are also available in ME/ M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, and PhD programs. Based on the GATE score and after a PI round, the IIT Hyderabad narrows down the list of qualified applicants for M.Tech Admission.

Candidates must complete the IIT JAM test for IIT Hyderabad Admission in the M.Sc program. Based on their merit score in the CEED exams, candidates seeking Admission to the IIT Hyderabad M.Des program are chosen. IIT Hyderabad will conduct both an interview and an exam for applicants to the MA program. The institute also offers doctoral programs in a variety of specializations, for which it first selects a shortlist of qualified applicants using their CSIR-NET-JRF or UGC-NET-JRF scores, followed by an interview round. Future Wireless Communication certificate training has also begun at IIT Hyderabad this year.
