Government New Law College, Indore (MP) is an important part of Holkar Science College, which was founded 125 years ago in 1891. Legal education at Holkar College began in 1923. In 1961, the Arts, Commerce, and Law branches were split from Holkar College, and a new college was created Government Arts Commerce and Law College, Indore. On November 3, 1958, the world-renowned former prime minister Shree Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for the college building, which was later opened by the world-famous philosopher and president Dr. Radhakrishnan on December 27, 1960.
The institute offers various PG and UG courses such as B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., LL.B., LL.M. which are taught by the institute's trained and experienced faculty members. The total seat intake for various courses is 2400.
