Admission Procedure:

For admissions under G.B.T.U, a candidate must appear in U.P. State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) held every year in month of April. A candidate who has appeared and cleared UPSEE-2012 in eligible for admission in first year of B.Tech., B.Pharm. & MBA and in second year of B.Tech & B.Pharm. Also known as lateral entry through counseling. 5% additional seats are available in each college under FW (fees waiver) category as per guidelines of AICTE through counseling. Direct Admissions are also permitted at Institute level under Management / NRI / Vacant Seats quota as per the guidelines of Affiliating University / State Govt. For Direct Admission eligibility criteria for each course is given below and is subject to change as per guidelines of Affiliating University / State Govt.

Minimum Eligibility:

(1) Qualified candidates of UPSEE-2012. (2) Qualified Candidates of AIEEE-2012 / Valid CAT (or valid MAT after CAT) (3) Must have passed Three Years Degree course from any recognized University Securing minimum aggregate as per university norms for session 2012-13 Marks in Aggregate without any Grace Marks ( 45% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) Or as per the latest govt orders.
