Elphinstone College, a prestigious college established in 1856, is a public institute under Mumbai University. The College offers courses in BA with different subject combinations with main subjects as Economics, English, Hindi, History, Geography, Marathi, Political Science, and Sociology.

• The student majors in one or two subject of his/her choice in 3 years of the course.
• The basic eligibility criteria are 10+2 from a recognized board and on a merit basis. Students appearing for 10+2, from any stream, can apply for admission.

Elphinstone College B. Sc Admission

The college offers Triple majors in different Science subject combinations. The subjects are Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Statistics, Mathematics, Microbiology, and Physics.

• The basic eligibility criteria are 10+2 from a recognized board with science as a subject and on a merit basis. Students appearing for 10+2 finals can also apply.
• For Biotechnology, Biology in 10+2 is a must. For Information technology, Mathematics in 10+2 with 40% marks is a must.

Students will have to choose certain subjects each year and 2nd and 3rd Year subjects will be opted as per choices made in the first year.

• Candidates must have passed 12^th class from a recognized board.
• They must also opt some certain subjects every year.
• They can choose subjects in 2^nd and 3^rd year based on their preferences in 1^st year.
• Students appearing in 12^th class will also be considered eligible for admission.

Elphinstone College B. Com Admission

The college also offers courses in commerce field. The basic criteria are 10+2 with Mathematics from a recognized board. Final selection is done on a merit basis.

• Students will have to choose certain subjects each year and 2nd and 3rd Year subjects will be opted as per choices made in the first year.

• Candidates must have passed 12^th class from a recognized board in order to apply for admission.
• They must also opt some certain subjects every year.
• They can choose subjects in 2^nd and 3^rd year based on their preferences in 1^st year.

The college application forms for admission for various undergraduate courses will be available in offline mode only and only from the college campus, only within the above-mentioned start and end dates. The admission fee has to be submitted in cash at the college admission office.
