Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies (DIAS), was established by Shri Laxman Dass Sachdeva Memorial Educational Society in the year 1999 and is one of the leading affiliates of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offering MBA, MBA (FM), BBA & B.Com (H) Programmes. The Institution aspires to provide holistic education in the areas of Commerce & Management. The Institution was placed in the Rank Band 76-100 in the Management Institute category for the last three years NIRF 2017, 2018 & 2019. The institute is certified with ISO 9001: 2015 certification. Additionally, the institute is AICTE approved.

The Institution has been rated high by the Academic Audit and the Joint Inspection Committee of the University.  It has been accorded the highest A+ status by the State Fee Regulatory Committee in the year 2012 and continues to enjoy the A+ status till date. The Institution has also been certified with ISO 9001:2015 in the year 2011 and certification has been revalidated in 2016.

The college offers various undergraduate and post graduate courses such as B.com (H), BBA, MBA, MBA(FM).

The basic eligibility of undergraduate course is 12^th pass from any recognised board. For post graduate course MBA, the eligibility is graduation in any stream with valid score of CAT, CMAT or IPUCET entrance exam score.

• Nineteen batches of MBA and Eighteen batches MCA students have completed their professional education from the institution. The post graduate students have excelled both on the academic and placement fronts. 
• It is the only Institute of GGSIPU which has been conferred with 26 university gold medals in MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA programmes till date.
• The MBA students have secured above 95% placement in the previous year in top notch companies.  
• The Institution employs ‘Student-Centric Approach' with latest audio visual aids to train the students. The students take up on line courses and give presentations on the latest topics. 
• The Institution also organizes National and International Seminars and Conferences, Workshops, Guest Lectures, Symposiums and Faculty Development Programmes on an annual basis. 
• The Institute has organized Twenty five National Conferences/Seminars and Seven International Conferences/Seminars till date.  Some of the conferences have been sponsored by AICTE, ICSSR, MEITY, GGSIP University. 
• In the last five years Fourteen FDPs were organized of which Seven were one week FDPs and One two week Faculty Entrepreneurship Development Programme. 
• The Institution has also been granted a Minor Research Project under IMPRESS Scheme for the  year 2019. 
• It also publishes a bi-annual International Journal DIAS Technology Review (DTR) - The International Journal for Business & IT which is listed in the Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN).
