College experience is like balm for the soul !
Placement: In my opinion , college is made only for giving jobs to students with a very high packages. Placements are too good .
Faculty: Faculty is awesome and very well experienced. They taught us every topic of every subject with lot of examples related to our daily life , hence understanding of concepts is getting quite easy .
College: It’s an autonomous and top one college in Pune . Fee is less compared to other colleges. Admission is on the basis of merit as per DTE rule

Placement: It is 100% overall done whether it is Btec or Mtech.
Faculty: Each and Every faculty of our college is the Ph.D. holder and there is a lot of practical knowledge is present here.
College: For the M.Tech entrance, one has to clear the GATE Examination which is Compulsory for everyone as it will give you the choice of best colleges and once you get admission here you will start the best journey in your career.

Faculty: The college faculties are all awesome and also there is a lot more to learn from them
College: The stream of my Btech was Computer Science and from 2012 to 2016 I have studied here and the annual fee of the college was Rs 57,000 per year and the college is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University

College: This is a very old college of Pune which is more than 160 years old and that is why it has a goodwill in the city and it is also a 10 on 10 colleges on many parameters and I am happy that I am a part of this college.
As far as the affiliation is a concern so this college is affiliated to the University of Pune.

Placement: Job opportunities are very good, in fact better than NIITs. Companies that visit the campus are Microsoft, Infosys, TCS etc. The max package that was given to the student from our college was 28 lakhs...........
Faculty: Faculty of the college is awesome. Almost 80% are PHD holders, others are Mtech. We have teachers from IITs as well. Dr. R.D. Joshi teaches the wireless comm and mobile communication.
College: This is an excellent college with good facilities for the students. The infra of the college is good. Classes and the labs have become high tech, building is old as the college is itself very old. Free internet and WIFI facility is given, playground of the college is very large. I took admission here by GATE score.
There are 2 canteens and they are very good. The hostel is also very good. However, for M tech they have given hostel facility only for 2 students, but for all b tech students and for all girls hostel is easily available. PGs are also easily available here as the college is located in the heart of Pune that is Shivaji nagar. For the students who have cracked gate can take scholarships but it is given form AICETE and not from the college. College has different scholarships facility like the criteria are different for Btech etc (9/10 for scholarships).

Placement: Probably the best placements amongst all engineering colleges in Pune. 100% placements, or even more than 100% if you consider the multiple offers that some students get. Companies like Google (19.95 lac) IOCL, BPCL, Barclays finance also visit the campus, athough they pick up just a few students. TCS as well other IT companies are the major recruiters.

Placement: Internships are available at the end of third year.Internship is for 2 months and not compulsory. Selection for company happens based on marks.Stipend is given by only the Computer and IT related companies like Microsoft,Credit suisse,Barclays,Goldman sachs,etc. with good amount ranging from Rs 30000 to Rs.60000 per month.No stipend for core companies For core,many top companies like cummins,john deere,tata,forbes marshall,etc provide internships as they have their factories in pune itself. Placements: Highest package (2014) was Rs.35 lakhs for computer science from japanese internet company Rakuten. Lowest package is provided by bulki recruitment companies like Cognizant,wipro,accenture which is Rs.3 lakhs.These companies also select 200-300 students at a time.So nearly 90% students are placed in these companies For core companies in mechanical engineering about 75 percent students were placed. Highest package for mechanical engineering was by bajaj (7.75 lakhs) Lowest package cotton greaves(3.5 lakhs) Other companies which visited college for mechanical engineering were TATA- rs.5 lakhs whirlpool- rs.4.5 lakhs exide industries- rs.5 lakhs TCE-4.5 lakhs mahindra- 5 lakhs cummins- 4.5 lakhs bosch - 5 lakhs reliance- 5.5 lakhs mercedes benz-5 lakhs reliance-5.5 lakhs crompton greaves-4.5 lakhs aditya birla-4.5 lakhs Dar al handshah- 4 lakhs 3DPLM-5.5 lakhs john deere- 4.75 lakhs fraudenberg(germany)-5.5 lakhs ABB-6 lakhs SKF-5 lakhs and many other companies.most of the core companies had package in similar bracket. For computer science and IT packages are higher (around Rs.8 to 11 lakhs) and companies like barclays.goldman sachs,microsoft,yahoo,morgan stanley,symantec,etc visit

Domkundwar Professor Emiritus Qualifications:B.E (Mechanical) M.E (Mechanical) Calcutta (Gold Medal) PhD (Mech) IIT, Madras (National Award) He is author of over 15 books and teaching experience of over 40 years so he has very deep knowledge of his subjects.He teaches from basics and focuses on concepts rather than just covering the syllabus.
