CGC Landran, also known as Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2001. It is an addition to the elite group of educational institutions of Chandigarh Group of Colleges. CGC Landran is a prestigious institution with NAAC A+ accreditation. The institution has been affiliated with the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU). The primary aim of establishing the institute was to create the most preferred educational groups with global recognition. CGC Landran has received recognition from AICTE, NCTE, PCI, and NCHMCT. Placement: Placements are really good. Many companies visit our college. I think at least 300 or more companies visit. The highest package offered is 31 Lacs per annum. You just have to be capable of that company. Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro and many more came here.
Faculty: Faculty members are really very helpful and also much qualified. Here the ratio of teacher to student is 1:50. Teaching methods are also very good. Faculty will provide everything if you really want to do something. The cource curriculum are also very useful for the future point of view.
College: Free Wi-Fi services in college and hostel. Free medical services also provided here. Classrooms don’t have AC but have many numbers of fans. College has many hostels for boys and recently one hostel completed which have fully AC and good interiors. College buildings are also well maintained.

College: My experience in cgc landran is just awesome. This college provides you opportunity and u have to grab it. placement scenario is also good here.For btech computer science student many companies like dell, hp, amazon, flipkart come here every year with good packages. the highest placement package of this year is 27 lakh. u will get so much opportunities here like foreign exchange programme , foreign internships etc.

Placement: Intern-ships are made available to interested students and college has appreciable placements and job opportunities. Almost 250-350 companies arrive the college for placement every year. Special training is given for placements, TPP(training and placement program) which develops professional and technical skills in students.
Faculty: My favoirite teacher has done M.Tech(CSE). However other teachers with Ph.D were also there but this particular teacher understood the proper way of teaching and new how to teach each student separately in same class. Her level of knowledge also inspires others to know more about the field she taught.
College: College is beautiful and alive. If your major concern is academics, CGC is one of the best colleges in PTU. If your concern is Placement, CGC is one of the best colleges in north India and if you are interested in business, CGC has best package for you.
