BITS Goa Admission 2024 includes several steps: filling out the application form, going through selection rounds, and result announcement. Students can get admission to the Integrated First Degree programs for the academic year 2024 through a computer-based Online Test conducted by BITSAT. Moreover, to secure admission to the Higher Degree programs, the students must apply and qualify the BITS HD Test - an entrance exam that the institute conducts. GATE and GPAT scores are also considered for HD programs admissions.

Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences Admission Test, shortened as BITSAT, is a computer-based test conducted for admission to the programs offered by the institute. The question paper consists of 150 number of questions and each correct answer is rewarded with three marks while a wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark as a penalty.

There are total four sections namely Physics, Chemistry, English & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Candidates seeking admission to B. E. must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (B. E.)/Biology (B. Pharm) as main subjects. The candidates must be proficient in English language.
• Candidates must have secured at least 75% marks in aggregate in PCM/B.
• For admission to M. Sc, the candidates must possess a B.Sc degree in the relevant field securing at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

BITS Goa Admission 2024: Application Process

The BITS Goa admission 2024 registration and application is conducted through BITSAT for the First Degree programs (B.E, MSc, BPharm). Interested candidates can apply for the BITS Pilani BITSAT application process online and pay the application fees through online mode. For candidates aiming to secure admission to the Higher Degree programs (M.E, MPharm, MPhil) can visit the official website of BITS Pilani and apply through BITS HD.

BITS Goa Application Process 2024: FD Programs

Candidates are required to fill out the BITSAT Application form online according to the below steps:

Step 1: Go to the University's official website and select ‘Apply now’. If registered before then select ‘Already Registered Candidates’ otherwise click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 2: Once the registration is completed, the application form will be shown on the screen. Fill out the application form according to the required details asked to enter - name, gender, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and password.

Step 3: Upload the scanned images and signatures and other required documents according to the specified format. It is necessary to make sure that the uploaded documents are in the prescribed format, if not then they will not be accepted

Step 4: For one session pay the application fee of INR 3,400 and for two sessions pay the application fee of INR 5,400. Tap on the submit button to end the registration process.

Step 5:  If the registration is successful, a pop-up message and the registration number will be shown on the screen.

Step 6: Students need to note their registration number, login ID, and password so that they can easily login in the future.

BITS Goa Admission 2024: Important Dates (B.E.)

The admission to BITS Goa Courses depends on candidates’ performance in the entrance examination i.e. BITSAT conducted by the BITS Pilani Goa. The exam date of BITSAT usually falls in the month of May and by the end of May month, the result is declared.
