Bengal Institute of Technology is an Engineering college located in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is one of the most acclaimed Engineering colleges in India. It is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and is approved by All India Council for Secondary Education (AICTE).
The college has two campuses:
One for Biotechnology department and the other for the rest of the departments. Both the buildings have WiFi facility for the students.

Courses
Bengal Institute of Technology Courses include B.Tech and MCA. The B.Tech programme is offered under different specializations like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Admission
Admission to the courses is done on the basis of Entrance Examinations. Bengal Institute of Technology admission to B.Tech will be on the basis of marks scored in WBJEE and admission to MCA will be on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in entrance examination conducted by the Institute itself.
Placement
The placement cell at Techno India is responsible for all the placement related activities of the Institute. The Placement officers perform vital tasks related to placements such as organizing placement related activities, communicating with the recruiters as well as the students related to the placement activities. Some of the companies which visit the campus for recruitment every year are Delloite, Microsoft, Blue Star, HDFC Bank. These companies view the resume of the students and they can also visit the campus for pre-placement sessions in the campus.
