JEE Main 2024 Admit Cards are available for download, and the exam is scheduled between 24th January 2024 and 1st February 2024. GATE Exam 2024 is scheduled for 3,4,10, and 11 February 2024. Admit card is available for download till 2 February 2024. CMAT Exam 2024 is expected to take place on 7 April 2024 in slots.
 

About Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR)

The Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is a private engineering college established in 2005. AITR is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) for B.Tech, Diploma, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.E and is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) for BCA, MCA, B.Com, BBA, MBA, B.Sc and B.A. The National Board of Accreditation accredits AITR for Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering courses. AITR offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and integrated courses for students in engineering, management, science, commerce, and pharmacy. Some entrance exams accepted for admission into this institute are JEE Main, GATE, and CMAT.

Admissions to Acropolis Indore are given based on merit. However, students who have cleared the entrance exam are given a preference. For admission in B.Tech, candidates who have cleared the JEE Main exam are given preference, and for admission in M.Tech, candidates who have cleared the GATE exam are given a preference. But, for admission to the MBA courses, students have to appear and clear the CMAT exam.

AITR Courses

Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated courses for students in engineering, management, science, commerce, and pharmacy. Candidates can choose their specialization as per their interests and also the eligibility criteria for the course.

• The various Undergraduate courses offered in AITR are B.Tech, BCA, BA (Hons), B.Sc, BBA, B.Pharma.
• The various Postgraduate courses offered in AITR are M.Tech, MCA, M.Com, M.Sc (Computer Science), MBA, M.Pharm
• AITR also offers a Polytechnic degree and an integrated degree in BCA + MCA.

Acropolis Indore Fees Structure

Acropolis Indore fees vary from one course to the other. The course fee for engineering undergraduate and postgraduate courses ranges between INR 60,000 to INR 75,000. The Acropolis Indore fee for an MBA is INR 65,000, for an MCA is INR 59,000, and the Acropolis Indore fees for undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy courses range between INR 47,000 to INR 1,40,000. There are several other courses whose course fee is within the same range. 
 

AITR Cut-offs

Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) has a cut-off criteria for admission to some courses. Candidates need to clear the cut-off to be eligible to take admission into the particular course.

The 2023 cut-off for all the B.Tech courses was between 204340 and 389473 and the 2022 cut-off for all the B.Tech  courses was between 174062 and 393874.

The 2023 cut-off for MP-Counselling was between 814 and 2932, for 2022 it was 767 and 2498, and for 2021 it was 1857.
 

AITR Admissions

AITR offers admission to students who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the course they are seeking admission to.

• For admission to the B.Tech courses, students are required to pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam along with maths as a subject, and for admission to B.Tech (lateral entry), students should have an engineering diploma in the subject they are applying to.
• For admission to M.Tech courses, students should have a B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized college/university with 55% marks.
• For admission to the various MBA courses, students should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognized college/university with 50% marks (for the general category) and 45% marks (for the reserved category).
• For admission to MCA courses, students should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college/university, with 50% marks (general) and 45% marks (reserved), and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduate level.
• For admission to MCA (lateral entry), students should have a Bachelor’s Degree in BCA or B.Sc (CS/IT) with 50% marks (general) and 45% marks (reserved), and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduate level.
• For admission to integrated MCA, students should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics being compulsory along with 45% marks in Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects. Read more about AITR Admissions.
   

How to apply for admission to Acropolis?

Students can apply online for admission to AITR. For online applications, students need to visit the official website of AITR which is www.aitr.ac.in. On this website, students can easily obtain the application form, fill in the required details, and submit it.

There are two modes of admission for B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, and Lateral Entry. These are:

• Centralized Counselling: Students can appear in the online counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, for admission to the B.Tech/ M.Tech/ Diploma/ Lateral Entry courses.
• Direct Admission: Students can also take direct admission through the institute quota. For this, they need to directly contact the institute or visit the office with all the necessary documents for admission.
   

Documents required for admission

Some important documents of the candidates are required for applying to Acropolis are:

• Photo ID proof (Aadhar, PAN, Passport, Election ID, etc)
• Passport-size photo.
• Signature of the candidate.
• Class 10 and 12 passing certificates.
• Undergraduate degree certificate for applying to postgraduate programs.
• JEE Main and GATE scoreboard for candidates who have appeared in these exams, and mandatory CMAT scoreboard for admission to MBA courses.

Acropolis Indore has been ranked 151 out of 312 colleges in India by The National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2023, and 88 out of 200 colleges in the B.Tech stream in India by The Times of India.

Acropolis Scholarships

Acropolis Indore provides some scholarships to students based on merit or economic conditions. Some of the scholarships are mentioned below.

• Dr. RM Sojatia Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who have secured 1st and 2nd position in I, II, and III year RGPV/DAVV examinations. Under this scholarship, Rs. 8000/- and Rs. 2000/- are given to students securing 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
• Mr. Pradeep Sojatia Merit cum Means Scholarship: This scholarship assists students from 1st year to the final year of B.E, MCA, MBA, and Pharmacy, who comes from an economically weaker section.
• Prabhat Sojatia and Om Sojatia Scholarship for Sports: This scholarship is awarded to students who have performed tremendously well at Nodal, State, and National level, with Rs.1000/-, Rs.5000/-, and Rs.6000/- respectively.
   

Acropolis Infrastructure

Acropolis Indore campus is spread over an area of 11 acres. The institute is well-equipped with laboratories, a library, a sports complex, a cafeteria, an auditorium, and transport facilities.

• There are a total number of 6 laboratories in Acropolis Indore. These are the Computer Lab, Android Lab, IOS Lab, EDUSAT-ISRO Lab, and Material Testing Lab.
• The college library constitutes a total of 15000 books as well as a lot of journals and magazines. The E-library constitutes 25000 books and 52 journals.
• The sports complex comprises a cricket ground and a football ground, and facilities for table tennis, volleyball, carrom, and chess.
